They are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to join them at this crucial stage in their development.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to drive growth and brand awareness in the tax technology sector.
  • Marketing Strategy: Create and implement innovative marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels to promote AI-powered tax solutions.
  • Customer Acquisition: Drive customer acquisition initiatives, including lead generation, nurturing, and conversion strategies to meet aggressive growth targets.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships and distribution channels to expand market reach.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends to inform product roadmap and marketing strategies.
  • Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong market presence.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Performance Tracking: Utilize analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Chief Marketing Officer or in a similar leadership role within a tech startup, preferably in the AI or financial technology sectors.
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, including product launch, marketing, sales, and customer acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, SEO, social media, and analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and brand management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with the tax or accounting industry is a plus.

    The Role
     
    Reporting into the head of marketing, this role will see the successful candidate managing Social Media Marketing and content campaigns for the business. The role comes with plenty of support but also offers a good level of autonomy to present new ideas/strategy. The Ideal candidate will be a strong writer with some SEO expertise who's capable of managing B2B social campaigns on major channels. Expereince in the technology sector is highly advantageous and responsibilities will include:
